
Submission Guidelines
Future Finance Fest (“3f”) seeks to foster conversations and collaborations between finance academics and fintechs (as well as other practitioners interested in financial innovation and the future of finance). Accordingly, submissions are accepted through two tracks: the academic track and the fintech/practitioner track. Individual conference sessions, however, will deliberately contain presentations from both academics and fintechs. This means that academic- and fintech-specific jargon should be minimized, and presentations will need to be intelligible and engaging to both sides.
Submissions through the academic track need to be in the form of a research paper (early stage work is welcome), a case study, or an extended abstract.
Regardless of the track, each submission should also include a note for reviewers on the contribution’s novelty, actionable insights for both academics and practitioners, and relevance to the future of finance.
We realize that both academic and fintech submissions can contain potentially sensitive information. Submissions to 3f will not be circulated outside of the 3f program committee. Accepted papers will only be posted on the conference website with authors’ permission.
We hope that the conference will result in many exciting academic-fintech collaborations that will both advance scientific knowledge and result in practical innovations. We therefore welcome academics and practitioners who are respectful towards and curious about “the other side”, and who are open to such collaborations. How does the submission process work?
Follow these steps to submit your contribution for a conference using ConfTool:
1️⃣ Log in to ConfToolGo to the ConfTool login page of the specific conference.Enter your username and password, then click "Log in".
2️⃣ Access the Submission PageClick "Your Submissions" or "Submit Contribution" from the main menu.
3️⃣ Select Submission Type
4️⃣ Enter Submission DetailsTitle: Enter the title of your submission.Authors: Add the names, affiliations, and emails of all authors.Abstract: Provide a brief summary of your work.Keywords: Include relevant keywords to categorize your submission.
5️⃣ Upload Your File (if required)If the conference requires file uploads, click "Upload File".Choose the correct file format (PDF, DOCX) as per the guidelines.
6️⃣ Select Topics or CategoriesSome conferences ask you to select a topic area (e.g., AI, Blockchain, Finance).Pick the most relevant category for your submission.
7️⃣ Review and Confirm SubmissionDouble-check all entered details.Make sure the uploaded file is correct.Click "Submit Contribution" or "Save and Continue" to finalize.
8️⃣ Confirmation and TrackingAfter submission, you will receive a confirmation email.You can track your submission under "Your Submissions" in ConfTool.
9️⃣ Editing or Updating Your SubmissionIf allowed, you can log back in to edit or update your submission before the deadline.
🔟 Peer Review and NotificationConference organizers will review your submission.You will receive an acceptance, revision, or rejection notification via email before the conference.

How to register as a Participant?
Follow these steps to register for a conference after creating your ConfTool account:
1️⃣ Log in to Your ConfTool Account
Go to the ConfTool login page of the specific conference.
Enter your username and password, then click "Log in".
2️⃣ Start the Registration Process
Click "Register as Participant" in the main menu.
3️⃣ Select Your Participation Type
Choose your participant category, such as:
✅ Regular attendee
🎓 Student participant
🎤 Presenter
🏢 Industry representative
🔹 Other categories (as defined by the organizers)
4️⃣ Choose Events & Services
Select the conference sessions, workshops, and social events you want to attend.
If available, add extra services like materials, meals, or networking sessions.
5️⃣ Provide Additional Information
Add special requests (e.g., dietary preferences, accessibility needs).
Include details of accompanying persons, if applicable.
6️⃣ Select Payment Method
Choose a payment option such as:
💳 Credit card (via Stripe, PayPal, etc.)
🏦 Bank transfer
📄 Invoice payment
7️⃣ Review & Confirm Registration
Check your selected options and total cost.
Read and accept the terms & conditions.
Click "Confirm Registration" to finalize.
8️⃣ Complete Payment (if required)
Follow the instructions for payment processing.
If paying by bank transfer, use the correct reference number.
9️⃣ Receive Registration Confirmation
A confirmation email will be sent to you.
Download your invoice or receipt from ConfTool.
🔟 Check Your Registration Status
Log in anytime to view or update your registration details.

How to register in ConfTool Using an Invitation Link?
If you received an invitation link for ConfTool, follow these steps to register:
1️⃣ Click on the Invitation Link
Open the email or message containing the ConfTool invitation link.
Click the link to be redirected to the registration page.
2️⃣ Create or Log in to Your Account
If you already have a ConfTool account, log in using your username and password.
If you’re a new user, click "Register New" and fill in your details (name, email, affiliation, etc.).
3️⃣ Verify Your Information
The invitation may automatically fill in some details.
Ensure that all required fields are correctly completed.
4️⃣ Confirm Your registration
Check the terms and conditions if required.
Click "Submit" or "Register" to complete the process.
5️⃣ Check Your Email for Confirmation
You will receive a confirmation email with your registration details.
